Special Interview of former AIT resident artists
The artists come from 7 countries- the U.S., India, Singapore, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Brazil, and Argentina.
Over the course of 5 years between 2007 to 2011, the artists visited Tokyo for 3 months through a residence program run by AIT and the Backers Foundation.
How can an experience living in a foreign country contribute to stimulating artists` minds and developing their practices?
These interviews reveal individual experiences of `Tokyo` and how they led to ideas for art works.
Some of the keywords raised were: Hibari Misora(singer), Roppongi, Noise, Zoo.
