Specialized in media studies, museum studies. As a co-founder, I established SETENV in 2000, and have been engaged in organizing several live performances and exhibitions on media art. From 2005, I have been mainly focusing on my own research. During the Ph.D course, I was tackling the issue of how museums can be conceptualized as a form of media. As an extension of the previous project, I am recently interested in various functions of media complex in the city, such as museums, airports and shopping malls. One of the keys to understanding this phenomenon is the omnipresence of screens in the city.
