Crossing Lines

Characteristics become clear through comparison and a consciousness of differences.  The main characteristic that sets Tokyo apart from other cities is that it possesses far more intersections.  It is at these intersections that many people meet, but many others pass through unnoticed.  If you are too busy rushing through your life, you will never discover anything, regardless of how many paths you cross.  I believe that in order to avoid these lost opportunities, we have to turn to art, which serves to enrichen the soul.  Art can be the greatest communications tool and I think it would be foolish not to take advantage of it.
