Japan has a history spanning over 1000 years. Even after riding through the stormy waves of modernization, Japan still exists in a state of collage between its traditional thinking and Western values. However, the single formula which was sustained since the end of isolation, through the 20th century, is now no longer sustainable.
Change is imminent, and cannot be avoided. How cann this change be an opportunity to break out oppressive institutions from the past?
