How to use ‘freedom’

Japan is a free country. But do we really understand the meaning of ‘freedom’? How do we bring freedom into politics, art, speech, expression, action and thought then use it to get things done? ‘M Daikanyama’ is a neutral event space I helped establish, that can be used freely by various artists and organizers to express themselves. ‘Freedom’ is not something that is received from others, it is something that must be won and we must now think about how our ‘freedom’ is to be used.
